Getting started with Stars Media means knowing what happens at each step before we touch a camera or open an edit timeline. This page walks through the practical order of work, what you can expect from us, and the real constraints that shape every project.
Every engagement is built around a clear brief, a realistic timeline, and a shared visual language. Here is what that means for you before we start shooting or designing.
We start with moodboards and color palettes so you see the look before we book locations or schedule shoots. You approve the direction, not just the final files.
Deliverables are cut for your website, Instagram grid, and print needs. No oversized archives or awkward crops that force you to rework everything later.
We keep the team lean and the schedule tight. Fewer people on set means fewer surprises in the final invoice, without losing the polish you came for.
You talk to the same person through pre-production, the shoot, and the edit. No handoffs that lose context or force you to repeat your story twice.
Behind-the-scenes stills, alternate cuts, and formatted crops come as part of the package. They keep your feed alive long after the campaign wraps.
You get a written timeline with review points and a set number of revision rounds. You always know what happens next and when the final files land.

Every commission follows the same path: a short discovery conversation, a written proposal, production days, and a review round. The timeline below shows what happens at each stage and what you can expect from us in return.
We start with a 30-minute call to talk about your project, your audience, and the feeling you want the images to carry. After the call you receive a written brief with a fixed scope, a delivery date, and a clear list of what we need from you.
Before any camera work, we share a moodboard with reference frames, color palettes, and lighting directions. You approve or adjust this board. This step prevents expensive surprises on the shoot day and keeps the art direction aligned with your taste.
We shoot with a small crew: one photographer or director, one assistant, and sometimes a stylist. For video projects we add a sound operator. The session runs on a tight schedule, so we ask you to confirm locations, models, and props at least three days in advance.
You receive a first edit within five working days. We include one structured revision round in the quoted price. Additional rounds are billed separately, so we recommend being specific in your feedback notes.
Final files are delivered through a shared folder with the resolution and format you need for print, web, or social media. We also send a short style guide with the color values and typography used, so future content stays consistent.
Many clients continue with a monthly retainer for social media content or seasonal campaigns. This is not required. If you prefer to work project by project, we keep your files and notes on file for future collaborations.
